This project explores the design of a series of informative and interactive leaflets for creative workshops at Fondation Opale. Developed as part of my Master’s degree, the proposal was conceived in dialogue with the Aboriginal art exhibition presented at the foundation at the time. Each leaflet communicates an upcoming workshop while introducing embroidery as a creative and accessible practice connected to the exhibition.
The visual system was developed in Adobe Illustrator, combining typography, colour, layout and schematic drawings of different embroidery stitches. Printed on card, the leaflets were designed to have a double function: communication and experimentation. The illustrated stitch guides could be perforated directly, allowing participants to embroider onto the leaflet itself and practise each technique, transforming an informative object into a practical learning tool.
